Crystal & Pete’s Winfrey Point Wedding | Dallas, Texas

Crystal and Pete’s wedding day at Winfrey Point in Dallas, Texas was nothing short of magical. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect — warm sunshine, a light breeze, and the most stunning view of grassy fields overlooking the lake and the Dallas skyline. It was the kind of day every couple dreams of.

When I arrived, I started with detail photos of the venue and their beautifully designed invitation suite. Soon after, I photographed the groomsmen and bridesmaids getting ready and sharing laughs before the ceremony.

One of my favorite moments of the day was Crystal and Pete’s first look inside the breezeway of their venue. The light poured in just right, and their reactions were so full of emotion and joy. To make the moment even more special, Crystal handmade her own wedding dress — such an incredible personal touch that made the day feel even more meaningful.

As guests began arriving, the soft sounds of the Dallas Asian Strings filled the air, setting the tone for a truly romantic ceremony. With the panoramic lake views and city skyline behind them, Crystal and Pete said “I do” surrounded by family, friends, and the most breathtaking scenery.

For dinner, they had @tastypaellatx cater the evening, and it was such a unique and fun experience — the chefs cooked paella right in front of the guests during cocktail hour, filling the air with the most delicious aroma. Everyone loved it!

The reception was relaxed and full of heartfelt conversations as Crystal and Pete took time to visit with each of their guests. As the sun began to set, we stepped away for golden hour portraits, capturing the two of them in the tall grass and along the shoreline. The soft, glowing light and the way they looked at each other made these moments so romantic and full of love.

It was truly such a joy to capture their day. Congratulations, Crystal and Pete — your wedding was unforgettable!

(Sneak peeks were sent within 48 hours of their wedding day — and they’re just as dreamy as the day itself!)
